Planning Commission

The Tiburon Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Tiburon Council Chambers at Town Hall, 1505 Tiburon Boulevard. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, or to confirm meeting dates and times, call (415) 435-7390.

Duties & Purpose

The duties of the Planning Commission are outlined in the Tiburon Municipal Code. The Planning Commission serves as the planning agency for the Town and reviews conditional use permits, zoning and zoning text amendments, subdivisions and precise development plans, the General Plan, and a variety of other items, as outlined in the Municipal Code.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Staff Reports will be posted the Friday or Monday before the meeting. The Staff Reports are with attachments (plans are not included) and may be viewed at the Planning Division  in Town Hall at 1505 Tiburon Boulevard. Minutes are available following approval.

Action Minutes are provided the week after the meeting, confirming whether an item up for discussion was approved or denied. The complete minutes are posted after the Commission has approved them.

Form 700 Disclosure Statement

Members of the Planning Commission are appointed officers identified in Government Code Section 87200; as such, they file statements of economic interest (Form 700) with the Town Clerk's office and the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC). Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the members of the Planning Commission may be obtained by visiting the offices of the Fair Political Practices Commission (428 J Street, Suite 620, Sacramento, CA 95240) or the Town Clerk's office (1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, CA 94920). The statements of economic interest are also available in electronic format on the FPPC's website and the Town's online portal.
