Design Review Board

The Tiburon Design Review Board meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, or to confirm meeting dates and times, call (415) 435-7390.

Duties & Purpose

The Design Review Board's duties are outlined in the Tiburon Municipal Code. The Board reviews applications for site plan and architectural review and applications for a variance from the provisions of the zoning ordinance, in addition to any other duties specified in the Municipal Code.

Agendas, Minutes and Staff Reports

Agendas and staff reports will be posted on the Thursday or Friday before the regularly scheduled meeting.  The staff reports are with attachments (plans are not included) and may be viewed on the Monday (10 days prior to the regularly scheduled meeting, at the earliest) at the Planning Division in Town Hall.  Minutes are available following approval.

 Action Minutes are provided the week after the meeting, confirming whether an item up for discussion was approved, continued, or denied. The complete minutes are posted here after the Board has approved them (usually 3 weeks after the hearing date).

Form 700 Disclosure Statement

Members of the Design Review Board are appointed officers identified in the Town of Tiburon's Conflict of Interest Code; as such, they file statements of economic interest (Form 700) with the Town Clerk's office. Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the members of the Design Review Board may be obtained by visiting the Town Clerk's office at 1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, CA 94920. Beginning in 2019, the statements of economic interest will also be available in electronic format on the Town's online portal
