On October 27, 2020, the State of California announced Marin County would graduate from the more-restrictive Red status to less-restrictive Orange status within the State of California's Blueprint for a Safer Economy. This move to a less-restrictive reopening tier is thanks to Marin's improving COVID-19 case numbers, and will allow additional business sectors to reopen or loosen restrictions.
