Join us this Sunday, September 24 for a Community Walking Tour of our parks system! As part of the Parks & Recreation Master Plan development, we will be hosting an interactive community walking tour to identify issues and opportunities in the Tiburon park system.
We will convene at 1:00 p.m. near the parking area at Blackie’s Pasture and take a walk to South of the Knoll and back, discussing the Richardson’s Bay Sanitary District site, South of the Knoll Park, McKegney Green, Blackie’s Pasture, and Greenwood Beach along the way. We’ll be asking participants to take in the sites as they are now and how the experience could be better in the future. What recreational uses would be a good fit there? How could this area better serve the community?
The program will end around 3:30 p.m. We hope to see you there! Learn more about the Parks & Recreation Master Plan update at tiburonparks.com.
