Are you ready for a disaster? The Bay Area is at high risk for major earthquakes, fires, storms, and public safety power shutoffs. Disaster professionals say the most important thing you and your family can do to protect against disaster is to be prepared.
Tiburon Police has implemented an program to educate residents on how to protect themselves and their families against all types of disasters - and how to Get Ready!
Feel unprepared or want to learn more? You can start here.
Sign up to receive emergency notifications via Nixle or Alert Marin. Local and regional police and fire departments will send you emergency information by phone, email, or text notification.
Purchase a battery-operated radio to tune in to 840 AM SNAP radio for local emergency information.
Attend a Get Ready Class to learn what to do before, during, and after a regional disaster. Over 2,500 of your neighbors have been trained and you should be too!
Get Ready Classes
