The holidays can be an especially lonely time for seniors that live alone. The Tiburon Police Department offers a free, friendly service called the You are Not Alone program.
Every morning, personnel from the Tiburon Police Department call participants to say hello and check in. If the Police staff is unable to reach someone after a few tries, an officer will come by to make sure everything is okay. Occasionally, we find someone has fallen during the night, isn't feeling well or are simply having phone problems and assistance is provided.
