The Tiburon Department of Public Works will begin performing street maintenance work this week on the following streets:

JV Lucas Paving, Inc. will be patch paving various areas on the above streets. If work on your street is not completed on the dates indicated in the notice distributed by the contractor, you will be notified with the next available date and time to complete your street in the following days.
Asphalt patch paving is necessary to repair locations chosen with failed pavement on your street ahead of the application of a slurry seal maintenance coating. As part of this two-phase process, JV Lucas Paving, Inc. will first grind out areas of your street and replace them with 4” of new asphalt. The second and final phase is the application of a slurry seal treatment. This will occur in the following weeks and residents will be re-notified again with project specific dates and details.
The treatment, once applied to your street, will take approximately 1-2 hours to cure before the street can be reopened to traffic of any kind. Emergency vehicles, trash, recycling, and green waste collection, and deliveries will not be impacted.
Expect some delays, follow directives given by flaggers and choose alternate routes if possible. Access to driveways may be temporarily impacted during the hours of patch paving operations. Street parking will be limited in the areas of work but will be available on nearby streets.
Streets that are to receive these repairs will also have “No Parking” signs placed along the street at least 72hrs prior to the work being started. These signs will have specific dates and times on which all parking and traffic on the street will be restricted.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY VEHICLES PARKED WITHIN THE POSTED AREA ON THE DAYS OF THE STREET RESURFACING WILL BE TOWED.
