The November 5, 2024 General Election is approaching. With many races on the ballot, including a local race, the Town would like to remind residents about election sign regulations.
In residential zones, each dwelling unit may display a total of eight (8) square feet and illumination is not permitted.
Beginning 45 days before the election, and ending 5 days after the election, the total display area of election signs may be increased to sixteen (16) square feet. Illumination is still not permitted.
Election signs on private property may be displayed only with the consent of the property owner. Election signs on public property will be removed, stored at the Corporation Yard, and then destroyed after November 5.
