From January 12 through February 20, Marin commuters can jumpstart healthier, more sustainable travel habits - and earn bonus rewards while doing it. The six week challenge stacks extra incentives on top of Marin Commutes' year-round perks, making it more rewarding than ever to transform your New Year's resolutions into lasting routines.
Log 8 Trips for a Chance to Win!
Every 3 weeks, participants who log at least 8 alternative trips are entered into a random drawing for a $50 gift card. At the end of the Challenge, the top 10 participants on each leaderboard (walk/bike, transit, carpool/vanpool) will be entered into a Grand Prize Drawing for a $100 gift card.
How it Works:
- Log your trips to climb the Leaderboard.
- $50 Prize Drawings: Automatically entered if you’ve logged 8 trips in each 3-week period.
- $100 Grand Prize Drawing: At the end of the Challenge, the top 10 participants in each leaderboard will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card.
Tell Us Your Commute Resolution
Share your New Year commuting resolution for a chance to win a $25 gift card. The first 5 participants to submit a qualifying post will receive a prize.
How it Works:
- Share a photo or short message about your 2026 commute-related resolution.
- Share a few words about your commute and experience with Marin Commutes Rewards.

1st Prize Drawing: 1: January 12 – February 1: Participants who log at least 8 trips during this period are entered into the first $50 prize drawing.
2nd Prize Drawing: February 2 – February 20: Participants who log at least 8 trips during this period are entered into the second $50 prize drawing.
Grand Prize Period: January 12 – February 20: The top 10 participants on each leaderboard (walk/bike, transit, carpool/vanpool) will be entered into a Grand Prize Drawing for a $100 gift card.
