The California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) will be closing one lane of Tiburon Boulevard between Avenida Miraflores and McCart Court on Janurary 9, 10, and 11, 2018. CalTrans will be demolishing a wood plank walkway structure along Tiburon Boulevard (Highway 131). The walkway failed due to extensive deterioration, cannot be fixed and has been closed to the public for the past several months. CalTrans has agreed to remove the damaged walkway without waiting for a future larger replacement project.
A portion of Tiburon Boulevard will be closed between the hours of 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. on January 9, 10, and 11. To relieve traffic congestion, a courtesy detour will be provided.
