Beginning today, Hilary Drive between Rock Hill Road and Mara Vista Court will be closed Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for the next 2-3 weeks. The closure is to accommodate utility work related to the Hawthorne Utility Undergrounding District.
The crews on scene will be allowing residents who live along this part of Hilary Drive to access their homes, but the road will be closed to all other traffic while the contractor is trenching the area.
If you use Hilary Drive to access Del Mar Middle School or Saint Hilary's School for drop off or pickup, please plan ahead to use alternate routes for the next several weeks. Access to Del Mar Middle School is available from Tiburon Boulevard to Avenida Miraflores and Saint Hilary's can be accessed from Tiburon Boulevard to Rock Hill Road.
