Monthly siren tests on the Tiburon Peninsula resume this Saturday, July 5 at noon and will now sound for 15 seconds on the first Saturday of each month, in sync with other Southern Marin cities. The sirens are shorter than before but still loud enough to test the system and remind the community to stay prepared. If you hear the siren at any time other than a scheduled test, it may indicate an emergency — check emergency.marincounty.gov, the Town website, or tune in to 840 AM radio for updates.
