Starting in June 2025, the Town of Tiburon will begin a storm drain rehabilitation project to improve drainage on portions of Karen Way, Claire Way, and within the Bel Aire Play Area. The project also includes upgrades to street drainage in front of Bel Aire School. Work will involve trench excavation to replace aging storm drain pipes, followed by full street repaving in the affected areas. Construction is expected to last about 35 days.
Lane closures and minor delays are anticipated, but flaggers will be onsite daily to help guide traffic. Town staff will be present throughout the project to oversee the work and respond to any concerns. Residents will receive door hanger notices with more detailed information as the project approaches.
