At a special meeting last night, the Town Council decided to call an election on August 29, 2023 for Tiburon voters to elect a councilmember to serve for the remainder of Vice Mayor Griffin's term of office.
Until then, the Council will appoint an interim councilmember to serve until the newly-elected councilmember joins the Council in September.

The deadline to apply is February 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Interviews will begin in early March and the appointment will likely take place in mid-March. Please note that active voter registration in Tiburon is required for appointment.
