Join us for an evening of vibrant color and emotion at the opening reception for local Tiburon artist Cecilie Starin on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the second-floor art gallery at the Tiburon Town Hall.
Cecilie's captivating paintings blend fields of color, shape, and line - each piece a thoughtful journey influenced by the Southern California orange groves of her childhood, the Central Valley's expansive cerulean skies, and the azure waters of her current San Francisco Bay Area home.
Trained under California legends Wayne Thiebaud and Manuel Neri at UC Davis, Cecilie brings a rich artistic background that includes study at Art Center College of Design and UC Berkeley. After successful careers in clothing design and high-end interior design, she has returned to her first love: painting.
