We are pleased to announce that Neal Toft has joined our team as Interim Director of Community Development. Neal will be filling the position while we conduct a search for a permanent replacement following Dina Tasini's departure.
A longtime local resident, Neal was born and raised in Mill Valley and has called Tiburon home since 2003. He brings extensive municipal planning experience to the role, having served as a planner for the City of Sausalito from 1991 to 2001 before transitioning to the City of Larkspur where he advanced to the position of Director of Planning & Building in 2012. Neal retired from his Larkspur position in 2022 and has been providing part-time planning support for his old haunt (Sausalito) for the last couple of years.
When he's not working, Neal enjoys exploring the area's natural beauty through mountain biking, golfing, and hiking Ring Mountain and Tiburon Open Space alongside his wife, Michelle.
