On November 6, 2019, the Town Council adopted Resolution Nos. 43-2019, 44-2019, and 45-2019, calling for a special municipal election to be held in the Town of Tiburon to elect one (1) council member on March 3, 2020. The individual elected will serve for a short 2.5-year term, until November 2022.

To become a Town Council candidate, you must be over 18 years of age and a registered voter in the Town of Tiburon. The nomination period for the March 3, 2020 election will begin on November 11, 2019. The last day to file nomination papers is December 6, 2019.
