Step 1
Before the need to evacuate arises, prepare a to-go bag for each member of your family, including your pet.
Have emergency water supplies and non-perishable food on hand that can last 5-7 days.
Complete your emergency kit, complete with essential items such as a flashlight, radio, first aid kit, garbage bags, duct tape, can opener, multi-purpose tool, etc.
Read more on How to Prepare.
Step 2
Sign up to receive emergency notifications via Alert Marin. Local and regional police and fire departments will send you emergency information by phone, email, or text notification.
Purchase a battery-operated radio to tune in to 840 AM SNAP radio for local emergency information.
Step 3
Attend a Get Ready Class to learn what to do before, during, and after a regional disaster. Over 2,500 of your neighbors have been trained and you should be too!
